Following is a list of predictions made on Earth Day 1970. The entire article which can be found here is worth a read but since rational people know there is no way human beings can destroy the earth the list of predictions should suffice to prove “climate change” is nothing but a hoax and hoaxes only have one purpose and that is to rob people of their money and/or freedom. When you consider that an entire political party in this country not only subscribes but promotes the idea that climate change is the greatest danger facing this country, that the leaders of that party constantly fear-monger the imminent doom of civilization and compare it to that same party’s proponents of the same schtick fifty years ago any reasonable, rational person would have to conclude the party and its leaders are either unable to learn or intentional in their deception making the lot of them idiots or charlatans with the truth being the leaders are charlatans and the body politic are idiots.
Here’s what the experts were saying almost a half century ago on Earth Day, 1970:

Other experts, more optimistic, think the ultimate food-population collision will not occur until the decade of the 1980s.

You’ll drive up to the pump and say, ‘Fill ‘er up, buddy,’ and he’ll say, ‘I am very sorry, there isn’t any. … The world has been chilling sharply for about twenty years. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.”
