What can you say?

At the funeral for Dick Gregory, maxine waters, I would say made a fool of herself but, she was just being herself so I really can’t say that. Much more disturbing, however, than the ranting of someone who should really seek professional help is the behavior of the crowd. All I can ask is, WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE? The video is more than amazing. Why don’t they get her some help? While we should pray for maxine let us take some solace though. Maxine has become very popular and is now, at 79 (why are all democrat “leaders” older than dirt? Very telling in itself.), a very prominent face and a prominent spokesperson for the democrat party so, on one hand we should hope she gets the help she needs but, on the other hand,  we should encourage her to keep it up. The destruction these fossils who came of age in the 60’s are doing to the democrat party...

Accidental Truth.

This is quite unexpected, a real piece of journalism from Time magazine though I am quite certain the author does not know what he is actually communicating just as I am quite sure the dems quoted don’t realize what they are actually saying. The entire article linked above is worth reading but here are just a few of the examples proving neither the author or the dems know what they are doing. The author first cites these stats, “when Clinton seemed to be coasting toward the White House and demographic change fueled dreams of a permanent national majority… eight months into the Trump presidency, the party looks to face its toughest odds since Ronald Reagan won 49 states in 1984. The Democrats are in their deepest congressional rut since the class of 1946 was elected, and hold the fewest governors’ mansions–15–since 1922. Of the 98 partisan...

White supremacy?

By on Sep 19, 2017

Reading the articles below I cannot help but think of what I have titled this post, white supremacy, for is that not what the miscreants that would destroy this country call civility and virtue?  “what else might you call this bundle of traditional values: honesty, fidelity, thrift, temperance, punctuality, fortitude, gratitude, dedication, kindness, loyalty, et cetera?” – so asks James Kuntsler of what Amy and Larry propose as the solution for what ails American society today. A killer are Amy’s credentials. Clearly bordering on if not an outright genius she has attained, at least academically and by the standard those on the left claim it unfair that all cannot achieve, a level of achievement her critics can only salivate over and were she making their inane argument these same critics would be holding her up as a type of Jung. Yet, because she proposes a...

No better example of imagination vs thinking than St. Louis.

What goes through a person’s mind who decides to lead the police on a mile speed chase through city streets and when finally stopped does not listen to what the police are telling him? Does that person think they are going to get away? Do they think they are Bonnie and Clyde? Do they think they are above the law? Do they think the police will not shoot them is they threaten them? Well, it certainly must be one of these things or a combination and none of these things are thinking. Same for the protestors. Do they think this man was shot simply because he was black? Do they think destroying property accomplishes anything but blight their own neighborhood or that it will cause the judge to change his mind? Do they think the next time a person commits a criminal act and the police are looking to arrest him they will not shoot the guy if he threatens him? Do they honestly believe...

I can’t believe I agree with Maxine

One cannot help but ask, WHAT ARE THEY NOT WANTING THE CITIZENS OF THE USA TO SEE? House goes to court to protect secrecy of records An effort to fight a FOIA lawsuit for proposals on health care reform wins bipartisan backing. By JOSH GERSTEIN 09/15/2017 08:21 PM EDT Updated 09/15/2017 09:03 PM EDT The House of Representatives is taking legal action to make sure that federal agencies don’t release congressional records to the public through the Freedom of Information Act. The move, which came Friday evening in a lawsuit demanding access to discussions about health care reform between the Trump administration and Congress, threatens to cut off a mechanism liberal watchdog groups were using to gain insight into closed-door negotiations on a variety of policy issues. In legal papers filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, House General Counsel Thomas Hungar said the move to protect...

The difference between imagination and thinking.

By on Sep 16, 2017

This is what I try to explain to my children. Imagination and thinking are not the same thing. In fact, there is a huge difference between the two. To explain it in the simplest terms, thinking takes place in the brain while imagination takes place in the heart. Now, of course the heart doesn’t think but the emotions that form or drive the thoughts originate in the heart and not the head. And sadly, this is how the vast, vast majority of the world functions. Lead by their emotions they IMAGINE the way they want things to be, actually, in many cases, believing they are reality. Seeing things that aren’t there, hearing things that were not said, they construct a fantasy world and then are shocked when their imagined outcome does not come to pass. This goes a long way to explaining the misery people live and the almost daily disappointment they experience. It is also what is...
