Why Washington, D.C. Is In Trouble: 7,780 Public Employees With $100,000+ Salaries Cost Taxpayers $1 Billion Authored by Adam Andrzejewski via Forbes.com, Local politicians in Washington, D.C. claim a $1.5 billion budget deficit due to the coronavirus pandemic. So, they’re lobbying Congress for a two-year $3.15 billion bailout. But the city’s financial woes aren’t stopping nearly 8,000 city government employees – including the mayor and city council – from bringing home six-figure salaries and higher. Washington’s leaders try and fail each year in their application for statehood, but they’re already out-earning their state counterparts. Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com found that Mayor Muriel Bowser earned $220,000 last year – an amount exceeding every governor of the 50 states ($202,000). What’s more, DC city councilmembers ($141,282) out-earned members...

The Shared History of NAACP and Black Lives Matter By Allen West | July 6, 2020 | 5:18am EDT “Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”(Quote attributed to George Santayana) If American Blacks are to truly overcome, the time has come for them to stop being driven into irrational emotionalism. Somehow, in the Black community, reason and rational thought have taken a backseat to the acceptance of thoughts, perspectives, and ideologies that are not consistent with the “proclaimed” principles and values over which many in the black community shout “hallelujah” on one particular day of the week — Sunday. Why are we watching a community self-implode but go right along “whistling past the graveyard” in addressing its real, true issues. I believe the fountain from which this irrational emotionalism flows has to do with organizations that have been established in the...

Waste, fraud, corruption – thy name is government.

Who doesn’t believe they couldn’t go into any government agency, department, section, or office and run that agency, department, section or office with 10% less people and on a budget 25% less? By MEGAN CASSELLA and ELEANOR MUELLER 06/10/2020 05:58 PM EDT Governors and local officials are struggling to meet payrolls amid a pandemic that has dramatically hiked government costs and sapped tax revenues. The U.S. shed 585,000 government jobs in May almost entirely at the state and local level, even as the rest of the economy began to show signs of recovery. Now state and local governments are looking to Congress for help as lawmakers begin to consider another round of economic aid. The job losses in government — which totaled more than 1.5 million in two months, according to Labor Department data — could get worse without a federal backstop, state officials and some members of...

If you aren’t against mob violence than you must be for it…

By on Jul 4, 2020

How can you be against a resolution that has no power of law, is merely a statement of belief and affirms what any rational person certainly believes. Opposed by perhaps the most corrupt man in the Senate, a pedophile, a cheater and a liar who should be in jail (of course, that could be said for quite a few senators and even more congressmen which is a pretty remarkable thing in itself if you think about it) a resolution, which is nothing more than a bunch of words, is not allowed to be heard. As my title says, if you are not against mob violence you must be for it, and as we have seen everywhere democrats run things that is clearly the case. And what is even weirder, these same democrats not only believe in mob violence they believe that by calling it peaceful demonstrations we the people are going to say, oh, yeah, what’s the big deal, I forgot, the definition of peaceful...
