“”In 1931, Pauline Schindler rented the Storer House after splitting from her husband, the Modernist architect R.M. Schindler, who had worked under Wright. She sent a letter to Wright’s third wife, Olgivanna, praising the house and mentioning the way the living room made her feel — and making a comparison to dramatic literature that could hardly have been more nuanced or perfect. “The room in which I sit writing is a form so superb that I am constantly conscious of an immense obligation to Mr. Wright,” she wrote. “Such superlative joy does it give us, like a drama of Sophocles.”” This is a quote of a quote from an article in the LA Times about Frank Lloyd Wright’s 150th birthday and the houses he designed in Hollywood. The point of my excerpting it is not for what it says about Mr. Wright but for HOW it says it. Where is this sophistication, this class, this...

It truly is difficult to believe ANYONE is this stupid

Living to murder your child is bad enough but to also support the mutilation of your own genitalia is really quite something. I am really sorry but no sane human being can say a woman who supports the mutilation of her genitals and her own rape is sane. At the counter protest against the racist March Against Sharia! Similarly in NYC there was this report: Separated by police barricades and a few dozen police, a few hundred mostly young people, including labor activists and Jewish and Muslim activists, and anarchists, blasted airhorns and whistles. — These are the counter protesters, JEWISH activists? How stupid are these people, REALLY? Is it not bad enough that the vast majority of ethnic Jews vote for the party that would gladly eliminate Israel? Now they support those who swear from birth to kill all Jews? That is also not sane because no one is that...

Must you make an ass of yourself to write for the msm?

For all the seemingly valid opinions of democrat pollsters and researchers quoted in this article you cannot help but sense that the author is writing with contempt for the voters. The real kicker though is the closing paragraph, what value does it serve? The article has nothing to do with policy results only policies that were supported by the opposing parties. The author shows himself to be exactly who he describes as the problem for the dems, an elite looking down his nose at the great unwashed who do not know what is best for themselves. The opening clauses of the last paragraph, “For all the harm he has done, continues to do and proposes to do,” prove that the author is either a fool or that in order to get published in the Times you must include some asinine elitist opinion about the President regardless of what you are writing about. The Democratic Party Is in Worse...

The level of idiocy displayed in this article proves it true.

Just imagine the levels of incompetence expressed in this piece. Who believes they could go to college and be instructed by people who cannot critically think themselves and expect them to TEACH critical thinking. And the author and the quotations prove the point. Absolutely amazing. Every quote and observation could be dissected and mocked but for what, the article proves its point by its very display of not knowing what it is trying to prove and succeeding at doing it . Incredible. Enjoy. And don’t forget, send your children to college so that they can be even dumber and able to reason even worse than before they began. Exclusive Test Data: Many Colleges Fail to Improve Critical-Thinking Skills Results of a standardized measure of reasoning ability show many students fail to improve over four years—even at some flagship schools, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of...
