Who makes the decisions? This is really quite remarkable. Even Powerful Senator Can’t Get U.S. Intelligence Agencies to Tell Him Whether They’re Spying On Him … by George Washington Jul 3, 2017 2:57 PM A powerful Senator – a member of the Armed Services and Judiciary Committees, the Subcommittee on Defense of the Appropriations Committee, and Formerly on the Select Committee On Intelligence (Lindsey Graham) – asked the general counsel for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence: If the government was spying on him Whether his identity had been “unmasked” And whether this information could be used for blackmail by politicians who didn’t like him The counsel for the intelligence agency refused to respond: What should we make of that? Washington’s Blog asked the highest-level NSA whistleblower of all time – Bill Binney* – what he thought. Binney responded:...

Republican cowards and the liberal playbook

We failed miserably, we spent all the money we extorted from you, we have nothing to show for it and now we need more and you know what, we are simply going to TAKE it and there is nothing you can do about it. Eat Cake. 241 years ago tomorrow perhaps the greatest collection of real men ever born into the same era wrote a document to throw of the chains of the type of tyranny we see here. Will there ever be such men again? Apparently not in the state of Illinois anytime soon. The comments in the second article are the typical totalitarian bromides but they are also uttered by republicans in Illinois. Take this one example: “If I lose my seat so be it,” state Rep. Michael Unes, R-Pekin said, adding the state shouldn’t have gotten so close to a financial collapse. “Without this, we will lose thousands of lives and thousands of jobs and the alternative is so much worse. I don’t like this....

The “reporter” of this article attempts to demonstrate the ideological divide that exists in this country between the red parts and the blue parts with a story about tress taking place in Austin and she is somewhat successful. BUT it is this closing quote by one of the residents of Austin that epitomizes the divide: “And what about my rights as a property owner to live in the kind of community I want?” she said. “That’s my right, too.” What an uneducated, self-serving clod. This comment shows such wrong thinking and it is this type of thinking that divides. She has the right to life (though she likely does not believe the unborn have that right), liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness. She does not have any right to anyone else’s stuff for her happiness. It is not her right to live in the type of community she wants unless she OWNS the community. Simple as that. This is...

The slope doesn’t get much more slippery than this. This is why the Second Amendment is the most important RIGHT we have. Without it the First Amendment goes the way of the liberal mental illness on display here. Gestapo is Back: German Homes Raided Over Facebook Posts Via The Daily Bell Germany has taken its war on “hate speech,” also known as free speech, to the people. Already Germany has pretty strict laws against citizens using Nazi symbols and denying that the Holocaust happened. Apparently, lawmakers miss the irony of going full Gestapo on citizens for free speech, as offensive as it may be. But they are not stopping there. The German government has raided the homes of 36 people accused of hateful posting on social media. Most of the raids concerned politically motivated right-wing incitement, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office, whose officers conducted home...

” Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

I have often wondered what happens to apparently good men when they get elected to public office especially if they go off to that office in Washington. It seems almost inconceivable that ALL of them could lose ALL virtue, ALL sense of decency, ALL conscience and ALL desire to maintain whatever ethical compulsions and core moral values they had at one time. This desertion of principle is easier to understand in any single department, company, division etc. where there is one head but in a Congress where each of the 535 men and women are supposed to be their own boss it is not quite so easy to understand. In any single headed organization the hiring practices are such that the philosophy of the head cheese permeates or, in the case of government agencies, infects the entire group either by consent or by discrimination. Those that agree with the philosophy are promoted those that...

All you unemployed college grads and entry level, summer job seeking, unskilled labor force city democrats say Thank You to the genius progressives who are so economically illiterate and impervious to facts that they will not be happy until never. McDonalds Is Replacing 2,500 Human Cashiers With Digital Kiosks: Here Is Its Math The stock market is luvin’ McDonalds stock, which has continued its recent relentless rise to all time highs, up 26% YTD, oblivious to the carnage among the broader restaurant and fast-food sector. There is a reason for Wall Street’s euphoria: the same one we discussed in January in “Dear Bernie, Meet the “Big Mac ATM” That Will Replace All Of Your $15 Per Hour Fast Food Workers.” In a report released this week by Cowen’s Andrew Charles, the analyst calculates the jump in sales as a result of the company’s new...
