Republican cowards, too smart by half

By on Jan 28, 2017

Of course it is true that no rational person would believe anything written in the Washington Post any more but if these comments about repealing the ACA have been verified and admitted to by the speakers then we can ignore the superficial, lazy and jaundiced reporting and concentrate on the comments. Most of the comments emphasize the fact that the enemy in Washington is no longer the irrelevant democrat party but the democrats that infest the republican party of which there appear to be legion. What is it going to take to convince some of these dolts in the Senate that the reason the dems went from 60 seats in 2010 down to 49 seats in 2016 is precisely because of the ACA? What is it going to take to convince these cowardly “republicans” in the House that most of them would not be there were it not for dems ignoring the will of the people and shoving ACA down our throats? The collection of RINO’s, cowards and fools in congress is only surpassed by the number of RINO’s, cowards and fools in the State Houses and that only because of mathematics.

Before I take the fool congressmen to task let us deal with the cowards in the Senate who either don’t know how elections work or are completely unaware of how human beings work. They are concerned they need 60 votes to replace, not to repeal mind you, but to replace (a word I am not thrilled with but I am forced to use) – to get to 60 they need 9 votes, do they really think they can’t get 9 of the 30 lying democrats up for re-election in 2018 to support a better health care system? These are either very corrupt men, very insincere men, cowards, or dopes. I think many of them are all four.

Now for the congressmen who are quoted in the piece (and I am quite sure some of the Senators would be making similar remarks if they weren’t hiding behind the 60 vote foolishness). Lets take them as they appear in the article:

“We’d better be sure that we’re prepared to live with the market we’ve created” with repeal, said Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.). “That’s going to be called Trumpcare. Republicans will own that lock, stock and barrel, and we’ll be judged in the election less than two years away.”  – A congressman worried only about re-election. Good heavens, he just got elected and all he is concerned with is re-election.

And then there is Faso, a newly elected RINO from NJ –

Faso warned that by defunding Planned Parenthood in the reconciliation bill, “we are arming our enemy in this debate.”

“To me, us taking retribution on Planned Parenthood is kind of morally akin to what Lois Lerner and Obama and the IRS did against tea party groups,” he said, a reference to accusations that the Internal Revenue Service improperly targeted conservative political groups for audits.

Faso continued: “Health insurance is going to be tough enough for us to deal with without having millions of people on social media come to Planned Parenthood’s defense and sending hundreds of thousands of new donors to the Democratic Senate and Democratic congressional campaign committees. So I would just urge us to rethink this.”

–here we have someone so in the tank for killing babies that he uses DEFUNDING planned parenthood as an excuse to not eliminate ACA. If there is one thing the citizens of this country want besides the elimination of obamacare it is the defunding of the abortion factory and infant body parts warehouse and retail supply business know as planned parenthood.

I submit that the focus of these two congressmen is not what is best for their constituents but what is best for them. Regardless their explanations they fear for their jobs. Unfortunately for them they fear the wrong people and with any luck they will be gone next election. The majorities in both houses have no place for feckless cowards who, under the guise of being pragmatic, put up roadblocks while doing the bidding of their owners and not their constituents.
