I wonder if anyone actually pays attention to this MAN excepting those who have their own agenda. This man has done as much damage to the Catholic church in terms of division as president hussein did to this country in his eight racial division reign. I wonder how so many cannot see that throughout history those who profess to be ‘uniters’ do nothing but divide while those who are accused of being divisive bring unity. The reason for this is simple, lies divide, truth unites. This pitiful pope and the even more pitiful ex-president divide, divide, divide because they do nothing but lie because they do not care one whit about what is best for the people, they do not love their fellow man though they pretend they do, that is all they profess but it should start alarm bells ringing to anyone that knows the bible, for is that not the very nature of satan? Simply stated these love only one thing – money – and we know what God says about that.
Vatican City (AFP) – Pope Francis on Monday used his New Year homily to urge peace and understanding for migrants and refugees.
“Let us not extinguish hope in their hearts or smother their expectations of peace,” the leader of the world’s estimated 1.2 billion Catholics said, marking the Church’s World Day of Peace before millions of worshipers braving a rainswept Saint Peter’s Square in the Vatican.
Taking up the theme of the ongoing migrant crisis, the pontiff said they were “ready to risk their lives in their search for a peaceful future “which is a right for everyone” and which everyone should strive to ensure for all. – 1 Jan 2018

Pope Francis has done more to divide Catholics than any pope in 150 years. He has clouded the Church’s teaching on marriage and sexuality. Francis has thrown out the clear, recent teaching of two of his immediate predecessors — which echoed Church practice and preaching for 2000 years. He has politicized the papacy, using its bully pulpit to further crudely crafted left-wing talking points on everything from the economy to immigration to climate science. He has marginalized and punished his critics, to the point that a new book calls him the “Dictator Pope.” Now he’s defending his handpicked lieutenant, Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga. That Honduran leftist (and anti-Semite) is accused of massive corruption that benefited him personally, to the tune of $40,000 per month. Other favorites of Pope Francis include the disgraced Belgian Cardinal Wilfrid Daneels — who was caught on tape trying to silence a sex abuse victim — and LGBT advocate Fr. James Martin, SJ.
In the best case scenario, Pope Francis will see the error of his ways, and spend the rest of his pontificate undoing the damage he’s wrought. Failing that, he should imitate the example of Pope Benedict XVI and admit that he can no longer lead the Church. He should resign, and open a political institute based in Buenos Aires. Something tells me George Soros would fund it.
