I am certain that had a republican Senator said anything even remotely similar to the judges on the court who do not even have to hear the arguments before them to know how they are going to vote, that Senator would be out of a job by the evening. This clown, schmucky, MAY be censured, BIG DEAL. On the left you can threaten violence, you can commit acts of violence and it is ignored or even encouraged and celebrated because you want the right to murder babies. There is something very, very odd and just a bit ironic about that.

Chuck Schumer Did Not Get Away With His Supreme Court Threats Thanks to National Review Reporter Alexandra DeSanctis
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) most likely would have gotten away with his threats to Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh were it not for the on scene reporting of National Review reporter Alexandra DeSanctis whose tweet was apparently the only contemporaneous report made of Schumer’s threats.
Schumer spoke at a radical pro-choice rally held in front of the Supreme Court Wednesday morning as the Court was hearing arguments in a Louisiana abortion law case when he singled out and threatened by name Gorsuch and Kavanaugh.
DeSanctis live tweeted Schumer, “I’m here in front of the Supreme Court for the rallies as the Court considers June Medical, and Chuck Schumer is addressing the pro-abortion crowd. Lots of boos when he mentions Kavanaugh and Gorsuch…Schumer: “I want to tell you Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Gorsuch: You have unleashed a whirlwind, and you will pay the price.”
Note the time stamps of 10:08 and 10:09 a.m. EST.
Schumer’s threats went otherwise unreported for hours afterward even though major media outlets were there covering the rally as this was the first major abortion related case the court has heard in years. Indeed Schumer said in his speech he singled out Gorsuch and Kavanaugh because this was their first major abortion case since both were appointed to the Court by President Trump.
When this writer saw DeSanctis’ tweet reporting Schumer’s threat a little before 1 p.m. EST I went looking for confirmation from other reports. There were none. I went looking for video clips. There were none. It appeared once again the mainstream media was protecting a Democrat from scandal.
It wasn’t until I found the archived live stream video of the rally on YouTube posted by rally organizer the Center for Reproductive Rights that I found confirmation–and then some!
While DeSanctis thankfully reported Schumer’s threat, it was not an exact quote and what was left off took Schumer’s threats to a new level. That and the visuals of Schumer turning and pointing his finger at the Court as he named Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh and then shook his fist as he screamed his threat to the cheers of the mob.
When I saw that and heard Schumer scream the previously unreported threat, “…You won’t know what hit you! If you go forward with these awful decisions!”, I knew this was an unprecedented mafia-style threat against the Court that would send shock waves though D.C. and the nation. The full quote was:
“I want to tell you Gorsuch! And I want to tell you Kavanaugh! You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you! If you go forward with these awful decisions…”
I set to work and had my TGP report with my complete transcript and context of Schumer’s threats published at 1:45 p.m. EST. My report had the YouTube rally video embedded and cued to the start of Schumer’s speech.
Ten minutes before that, MRC Latino Director Jorge Bonilla posted the first video clip of Schumer’s threats at 1:35 p.m. EST, which I later embedded in my report. Bonilla’s clip has over 4 million views as of Thursday night.
Schumer has since been rebuked by Chief Justice John Roberts, President Donald Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and is the subject of a censure resolution brought by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO). A defiant Schumer excused his threats in a Senate floor speech Thursday morning by saying he is from Brooklyn and said he regretted his words but that he was defending a woman’s right to choose.
Were it not for Alexandra DeSanctis, Schumer very likely would have gotten away with his threats. Perhaps a Presidential Medal of Freedom is in her future?
