It really may be impossible to fix STUPID

Ignoring the obvious bias, assumption, preconceived notion and prejudicial audience, all of which in themselves are telling, and focusing solely on the intransigence —  If you see stuff with your own eyes and hear with your own ears and you actually understand and even admit that you understand with your own mouth and yet, you still cannot change your mind – I would say you have condemned yourself and you cannot be fixed. By the admission of the words that come from your own lips — You are stuck on stupid. Play Swaps Genders of 2016 Presidential Candidates, Receives Surprising Reactions from Audience A play has brought parts of the 2016 presidential debates to the stage but with an added twist: Donald Trump is played by a woman, while Hillary Clinton is played by a man. Maria Guadalupe, an associate professor of economics and political science at INSEAD, joined forces...

This is simply appalling

This article by Rich Lowry describing what took place at Middlebury College last week proves beyond any doubt there really is no cure for stupid. Anyone who would even protest Charles Murray let alone riot because he was going to speak has no business even being on a college campus let alone pretending they are there to learn. It is near frightening to think these punks on college campuses actually believe they are bright enough to master higher learning when they are still wearing diapers. The Battle Of Middlebury by: Rich Lowry At Middlebury College last week, Charles Murray needed a safe space – literally. In a significant escalation of the campus speech wars, protesters hooted down the conservative scholar in a lecture hall and then roughed up a Middlebury faculty member escorting him to a car. The Middlebury administration commendably tried to do the right thing and stand by...

Should we allow Ca. to elect the President?

By on Mar 6, 2017

A better question, why was Hillary campaigning in California AT ALL? The founding fathers were indeed geniuses to create the Electoral College elsewise the person Ca.wanted as president would be president of the entire country. Given the absolutely horrible and corrupt condition of Ca. would we really want nationwide what they have? From washingtonsblog.com Clinton campaigned in California, which wasn’t even in contention between her and Trump, and she achieved there an enormous victory-margin over Trump, of 4,269,978 votes; she won that state by 61.73%, compared to Trump’s 31.62%. She won that state by 4,269,977 votes more than were needed for her to win the state. In all other states than California, Clinton lost nationwide by a total of 1,401,459 votes. However, because of her massive 4,269,978-vote win of California, she won the popular vote nationwide by 2,868,519 votes. If the...

If you were to ask most people if they were smart

By on Mar 3, 2017

I dare say the vast majority would say they were “smart enough”. And, indeed, they certainly are. So, the question then becomes, why do so many people who are smart enough believe others who may or may not be just a bit “smarter” have the answers to the world’s problems? I have often wondered what makes people believe 9 people in black robes have the wisdom to decide how 300+ million people should live their lives especially when it is known well beforehand how 4 of them are going to vote on any question before one word of argument is made – this seems to me the very antithesis of wisdom. We can hardly blame these four blind people on the court for their lack of wisdom, sure, they think they are wise making them fools by their own self-view but, who is really unwise here, it would have to be the fools who nominated them and the bigger 100 fools of...

Omar Abdel Rahman, the ‘Blind Sheikh,’ Is Dead Abdel Rahman, the Blind Sheikh, was responsible for much of the last quarter century of terrorism. By Andrew C. McCarthy — February 18, 2017 Omar Abdel Rahman, the notorious “Blind Sheikh” who died on Friday night while serving his life sentence in federal prison, was never shy about being a terrorist. As he put it: What kind of name is this? Why are we afraid of it? Why do we fear the word terrorist? If the terrorist is the person who defends his right, so we are terrorists. And if the terrorist is the one who struggles for the sake of God, then we are terrorists. We . . . have been ordered with terrorism because we must prepare what power we can to terrorize the enemy of Allah and your enemy. The Koran says “to strike terror.” Therefore, we don’t fear to be described with “terrorism.” . . . They may say, “He is a terrorist, he uses...
